VPSwitcher Videophone Switcher This VPSwitcher, a Videophone Switcher is a perfect gadget gizmo item for every VP users who use dual videphone units such as Sorenson's VP-100 and/or D-LINK's DVC-1000! Of course, VPSwitcher is very easy to set-up. Just stack up two videophone units on top of VPSwitcher as illustrated above. Then, no more hassle worries about disconnecting and re-connecting cables at the rear of videophone units. Just press the front button. Then, you're done! There are four advantages of using VPSwitcher: 1) Just press the front button for easy switching back and forth between two videophone providers at your mood preference. (NOTE: Make sure that both of VP#1 and VP#2 have the known IP address/phone number assigned to you by both providers). 2) You and your roomate are stuck with one line. Use VP#1 for your videophone unit. Use VP#2 for your roomate's videophone unit. Just press the front button to switch to VP#1 if you need it or switch to VP#2 if your roomate needs it. (NOTE: Make sure that both of VP#1 and VP#2 have the different IP addresses/phone numbers for you and your roomate). 3) You and your roomate have two lines, dedicated only for VP calls which it adds up pretty expensive monthly bill. Eliminate one line and use VPSwitcher! It will pay by itself in about 2 or 3 months. Use VP#1 for your videophone unit. Use VP#2 for your roomate's videophone unit. Just press the front button to switch to VP#1 if you need it or switch to VP#2 if your roomate needs it. (NOTE: Make sure that both of VP#1 and VP#2 have the different IP addresses/phone numbers for you and your roomate). 4) Use VP#1 for general calls. Use VP#2 for setting up an answering machine (click here for more info). No more spending time twisting a single videophone unit to point at the reading text message sign or portable DVD player.
